We either live from love, or we live in fear. Time spent feeling depressed about the unchangeable past or on being anxious over the uncontrollable future allows the present moment to slip silently through your fingers. Unnoticed amidst the hustle and bustle of every day, the activities of ‘having a life’ can become all-consuming as your focus is pulled into the mundane tasks of being. The art of presence requires intentional focus to the naturally occurring pauses held within each breath. Paying attention on purpose, in this manner, allows you to experience the multifaceted fullness of life. Regardless of how you choose to show up, intent is only one part of the equation.
Existing on purpose means consistently showing up for yourself–doing so intentionally from the place deep within where the reality of your BEing resides. From the origin of your being, the perspective of self and others is non-judgmental, objective, accepting. When you learn to accept things as they present, you are more fully aligned with all life. BEing on purpose. Intentionally present in time, moment-to-moment, frees you from the confines of judgment. Outside the entrapment of a conditioned perspective to view things as right and wrong
Intentional presence does not require understanding. Accepting and allowing do not beg pardon from knowing how or why something happened. In fact, little in life is truly enriched by detail. Acceptance requires nothing by allowing things to be complete as is. This is the space in which you exist from the love you are and not in fear.
